Frequently Asked Questions
What type of training and certifications do you have?
All of our installers are Certified Lead Abatement Workers by the Wisconsin DHS. This is important because many homes built before 1978 have lead paint on the windows and trim and must be handled properly.
What kind of construction do you specialize in?
We specialize in residential exterior remodeling which includes windows, doors, siding, soffit, fascia and gutters. We also do decks. On the inside of your home we remodel bathrooms.
How do you charge for projects?
Every job is carefully analyzed and charged per project.
Who is responsible for getting the necessary permits?
Most window replacement and siding jobs do not require permits. However, every municipality is different and when required, we pull the permit.
Do you offer free in-person estimates?
Yes. Knowledgeable, courteous and Respectful. No high pressure and no gimmicks.
What is your service area?
We like to stick around the Dane county area of south central Wisconsin but we have been known to travel a few hours away under the right circumstances.
Is your company licensed and insured?
How long does a typical construction project take?
This question is impossible to answer without knowing the specifics of your project but, in general anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks. We want to finish as fast as possible while maintaining the quality our customers expect.
Do you have your own employees or do you hire subcontractors?
Both. The majority of our jobs are accomplished with our excellent workforce. However, when specialization is required (think plumbers or electricians) we have great relationships with subs we have developed over the years and we bring them in.
Do you offer any warranties or guarantees on the work you do?
Yes. Lifetime warranty on material and labor. We stand behind our products and service. Respect is more than just our name.
